WINNER: Fonterra Cooperative Group
DESCRIPTION: Fonterra’s eco efficiency programme has been running since 2003 with a national target set at 90% reduction of waste to landfill by the end of 2009 (75% by end of June 2008) and is on track to reach this target. This programme is implemented at 136 Fonterra sites. At a corporate level Fullcircle is the supplier of recycling services at Fonterra with a primary focus in recovering cardboard. Fonterra entry
