JUDGES COMMENTS: This entrant, faced with a change in commercial circumstances, has put on their packaging systems hats and created a packaging format which is truly a systems approach. Significant gains in space utilisation, transport savings and therefore supply chain simplicity, not only for supply of products but the return of the packaging. Good design principles mean that this system still retains its integrity with minor physical damage.
