PACKAGING RESEARCH INSTITUTE

The China National Export Commodities Packaging Research Institute (CEPI) was founded in 1974 approved by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. In 1978 authorized by the State Council, it strengthened and enlarged the scope, meanwhile, was approved to be the director member of World Packaging Organization (WPO) and Asian Packaging Federation (APF) on behalf of China. In 2005, it enters the International Association of Packaging Research Institutes (IAPRI).

EUROPEN

The European Organization for Packaging and the Environment – is an industry and trade organization open to any company with an economic interest in packaging and packaged products.  It presents the opinion of its members on issues related to packaging and the environment.

INCPEN

The Industry Council for Packaging and the Environment is a UK based non-profit organisation established in 1974 dedicated to: Analysing the environmental and social effects of packaging.  Creating a better understanding of the role of packaging. Minimising the environmental impact of packaging.

IoPP

The Institute of Packaging Professionals is the authoritative organization serving the educational needs of the packaging community, where individuals can enhance their career experience through mutual interaction.

IoPP will be the central unifying force in packaging for the benefit of its members, the packaging community and society.  Dedicated to the proposition that packaging is a positive, environmentally responsible and economically efficient force, operating in a modern economic society for the benefit and improved well-being of its people.

THE PACKAGING COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA

The Packaging Council of Australia is a national Association of raw material suppliers, packaging manufacturers, packaging users, retailers and packaging designers/consultants.

WEEE RECYCLING NETWORK

Is an information service for businesses covering all aspects of the WEEE/RoHS Directives. With the WRN, we aim to provide news, comment and information on the effects and opportunities that the Directive will deliver.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is a European law designed to encourage and regulate the collection, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment, for which it sets targets. The Directive aims to improve our environment, reduce risks to human health through the proper treatment of discarded goods.

WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme)

WRAP (the Waste & Resources Action Programme) was established in 2001 in response to the UK Government's Waste Strategy 2000 to promote sustainable waste management.
