ENVIROMARK
Enviromark is an environmental management system marketed and supported throughout New Zealand by Landcare Research.
ENVIROSMART
EnviroSmart is a new initiative promoted by councils throughout New Zealand. The EnviroSmart programme, which was launched in February 2006, will focus on improving the environmental performance and resource use efficiency of over 500 recruited businesses nationwide. This programme builds on an initial pilot in North Shore City and an extended Auckland regional pilot programme.
GOVT 3
Govt3 is a programme for agencies to improve the sustainability of their activities. The 'Govt' in Govt3 stands for government and the '3' stands for the 'three pillars of sustainability': environmental, social, and economic.
Government is strongly behind the programme, and the core government agencies are looking for appropriate and effective ways to demonstrate leadership in this area.
MINISTRY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
The Ministry is the Government's principal adviser on the New Zealand environment and international matters that affect the environment. Working with others in central and local government, industry and the community to achieve good environmental governance and decision-making at all levels. Sustainable development is the context for all our work.
NZ BUSINESS COUNCIL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

catalyst for change toward sustainable development, and to promote eco-efficiency, innovation and responsible entrepreneurship.
NEW ZEALAND TRADE AND ENTERPRISE (NZTE)
Is the New Zealand government's national economic development agency. Through our network of offices worldwide, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise aims to grow New Zealand's economy by boosting the capability of businesses and regions and facilitating their sustained and profitable participation in overseas markets more

NZ JUICE & BEVERAGE ASSOCIATION
The New Zealand Juice Association has been operating since mid 1994 and was formed to promote the interests of the fruit juice industry.
Currently, the New Zealand Juice & Beverage Association members represent over 95% of all juice and beverages sold at a retail level.
NZ PAPERBOARD& PACKAGING ASSOCIATION
One of its five current objectives is
to promote and encourage environmental awareness and responsibility both in member companies and in the public area, in respect of issues affecting or relating to paperboard packaging.
PLASTICS NEW ZEALAND
Represent New Zealand manufacturers, raw material suppliers and recyclers of plastic products. The site is designed to provide up to date and factual information on Plastics in New Zealand.
Plastics New Zealand Incorporated's mission is to "maximise the growth and success of plastics-based technology in New Zealand in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible manner".
RECYCLING OPERATORS OF NEW ZEALAND
An organisation that represents recycling service providers, operators and educators in the recovered materials and recycling industry. RONZ's mission "to gather, represent and support the diverse interests of members committed to minimising waste
through resource efficiency and recycling initiatives".
TERRANOVA (prev. Recovered Materials Foundation)
TerraNova is the new name for the organisation previously known as the Recovered Materials Foundation. The Recovered Materials Foundation was a not-for-profit organisation established by the Christchurch City Council and other interested parties in 1997. Its aim was to develop sustainable end uses for materials recovered from the wastestream.
SIMPLY SUSTAINABLE
Provides New Zealand businesses easy to understand information on sustainable business practice: what sustainable means for business, how it provides benefits to businesses (eg by saving money, opening businesses to a market that demands sustainable products and services) and how businesses can implement sustainable practice.
SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS NETWORK
The Sustainable Business Network is a forum for businesses that are interested in sustainable development practice to get together and make it happen.
WASTEMINZ
The Waste Management Institute of New Zealand (WasteMINZ) is a non-profit organisation that was formed in 1989 to promote sustainable waste management practices for the benefit of all New Zealanders. Our primary function is to provide a forum for presentation and dissemination of information and to act as a facilitator for the waste management industry in New Zealand.
