Membership of the Packaging Council is through payment of an annual subscription fee. The level of the subscription is related to your industry sector and turnover.
We have five industry sectors:

Product Sellers |
Distributers, wholesalers and retailers of packed products, e.g. supermarkets and general merchandise stores. |

Service Providers |
Service providers, e.g. recyclers and waste services providers. |
The subscription year runs from 1 October to 30 September. New members will be invoiced on a pro rata basis in their first year.
On receipt of your first subscription payment, you will be asked to sign a letter of support for the 2004 New Zealand Packaging Accord. Completing these two steps will enable you to declare yourself a member of the 2004 New Zealand Packaging Accord.
You will also be asked to complete and return annual progress reports, which enable the Packaging Council to report on progress against the Packaging Accord targets.
