This month, as part of the growing relationship between the University of Auckland and India, Dr Sudip Ray and Ms Adeline Le Cocq from the Biocide ToolBox team met with Sh. Sanjiv Kholi, High Commissioner of India in Wellington.

Also this month, congratulations to Distinguished Professor Margaret Brimble, the first New Zealand woman to be elected as a fellow to the world's oldest and most prestigious scientific academy, the Royal Society of London. The same week, Margaret was also awarded the UK Royal Society of Chemistry's 2018 George and Christine Sosnovsky Award in Cancer Therapy, for developing a novel innovative chemistry platform for the development of cancer vaccines.
