New Zealanders consume over 730 thousand tonnes of packaging every year, but recycle only about half of it.

The crazy thing is that over 95% of New Zealanders have
access to facilities to recycle paper, glass, cans and
plastics 1 and 2 (and in some places 1 - 7).
