    Your Purpose

    Delivering our consumers dairy nutrition in a way that cares for our people, our animals and our environment is at the heart of what we do – and we’re now picking up the pace when it comes to our contribution to enhance sustainability !


    We are looking for a forward-thinking National Sustainability Manager who is looking for an impactful role with a very important purpose. Your focus will be to lead, develop and drive the FBNZ strategy relating to environmental management, sustainability and social responsibility to improve FBNZ’s environmental performance. In our rapidly changing landscape, you will continually evolve the FBNZ sustainability strategy to ensure relevance.


    By making key strategic decisions you will provide both people and thought leadership to our co-op and external parties by acting as the bridge that brings our environmental strategy together.


    Using your natural leadership ability to engage key stakeholders both inside and outside the business, you will work in partnership to discover and drive new ideas and ways to safeguard NZ’s natural resources by reducing our environmental impacts.


    To ensure success, you’ll be inquisitive and wont shy away from our ambitious targets. By having knowledgeable conversations with other environmental and sustainability experts, you’ll build on existing relationships and continue to establish important connections, always looking for ideas and opportunities on how we can add more value back in to New Zealand. Whether it be partnering with Universities and their research teams, or local packaging waste companies, your blue-sky mindset will help you push for a clean, green, healthy and effective environmental strategy.


    What you’ll bring

    It’s important that we find a strategic leader who wants to establish an impactful environment and sustainability strategy and become recognised on the world stage for our commitments and contributions to the health of our world.


    It’s likely that you would have made significant progress within a previous role and be looking for an opportunity to transform another business to reach its sustainability goals.


    In addition, we are looking for the following key skills and experience:


    Ability to shape and deliver our sustainability vision and bring relevant people together to bring plan to life

    Extensive experience in operational management, environmental compliance and sustainability

    An ability to quickly grasp complex environments to pursue a fit for purpose sustainability and environmental strategy
